2012 Awards
The Community Education Awards is an annual celebration of schools’ efforts to help children and young people to become positive community members. The Police Community Clubs of Great Britain will use the awards to demonstrate the most innovative and effective approaches currently in use and encourage the development of more projects that will have a positive impact on pupils.

Entry requirements
- Entries may refer to work carried out by a third party company or agency but may only be submitted by members of school or PRU staff.
- At least five pupils must have participated in a project.
- All entries and further information must be submitted within the dates set out in the ‘Process and deadlines’ section below.
- UK entries only.
Judging
The judging panel will consist of one representative each from the Police Community Clubs of Great Britain, Community Initiatives Associates and the award sponsor as well as one brand ambassador. They will base their evaluation of each entrant on the following categories:
- Structure
- Plan
- Application
- Content
- Outcome
- Legacy
Process and deadlines
A shortlist of projects will be drawn up based on the information provided in the simple entry form that can be accessed by clicking on the ‘Enter’ button below. If a project is selected to appear on this list, the school representative who completed the form will be asked to provide additional information which will help the judges to select the award winner. The dates for the award stages are as follows:
