The Personal Money Management Award
Judging
The judging panel will consist of headteachers, an industry expert, one representative each from the Police Community Clubs of Great Britain and Community Initiatives Associates as well as one brand ambassador. They will base their evaluation of each nominee on the following criteria:
- Innovation in the way pupils manage their money
- Showed a strong focus on practical application
- An initiative or project promoting a responsible attitude to money
- Evidence of how the school have benefited from such a project or scheme
The Police Community Clubs of Great Britain recognises the importance of financial education within schools and wishes to commend projects that teach children valuable lessons about money management.
Nominated projects should demonstrate an innovative approach to tackling the subject, encourage a responsible attitude to money and have a strong focus on practical application.
A shortlist of nominees will be drawn up based on the information provided in the simple nomination form that can be accessed by clicking on the ‘Nominate’ button below. If the nominee is selected to appear on this list, the nominator will be asked to provide additional information about the nominee’s work which will help the judges to select the award winner.

The Commitment to Saving Award
Judging
The judging panel will consist of headteachers, an industry expert, one representative each from the Police Community Clubs of Great Britain and Community Initiatives Associates as well as one brand ambassador. They will base their evaluation of each nominee on the following criteria:
- An initiative or project which has seen pupils encouraged to save money
- Seen pupils given responsibility to implement money saving strategies
- Evidence that money saving ideas have been successful
- Details of how much money has been saved through pupils actions
In today’s current financial climate, it is hugely important to promote money saving to children across the country. The Awards wishes to recognise the projects and initiatives which have helped highlight this to pupils.

The School Council Budgeting Project Award
Judging
The judging panel will consist of headteachers, an industry expert, one representative each from the Police Community Clubs of Great Britain and Community Initiatives Associates as well as one brand ambassador. They will base their evaluation of each nominee on the following criteria:
- A school council who have devised and implemented a budget
- Pupils have taken responsibility for budgeting
- Evidence of how budget was developed
- Evidence of how budget had a positive effect on the school
This award is aimed at rewarding those that have followed up good financial education in the classroom by influencing their own budgeting skills.
The Police Community Clubs of Great Britain are fully aware that raised budgeting awareness can provide positive results for not only children themselves, but their family at home.
