With roads becoming busier and busier the aim of this project was to enable their special needs children to cross all roads safely and in the safest possible place. The project was set to equip them with skills to automatically stop, look, listen and be safe.
This is a skill that many people take for granted, but for their special needs children it is a skill that takes time to become embedded.
Posters, computer based posters, work in books, topic on materials including retroreflective and flourescent were all ways in which the school taught the children, as well as the practical elements.
The Schools aim for the future, is that every child should be equipt in how to cross a road safely and be aware of the transport around them.
Congratulations to Miss Brown and the children at T'Mimei Lev for winning the
"Transport Awareness and Road Safety Award 2018"
